It’s very evident Walsh is using offspeed to set up FB. He’s fooling nobody with his FB.
I say this and then he’s get a backwards K on two straight FB. Out 2.
Kid didn’t open his eyes and hit a good pitch out of the park on a ball to the outer half of the plate. He guessed and he got what he guessed. 🙄 2-0 UCLA
Walsh comes back with a strike out. 3rd out.
Walsh reminds me a bit of Nick Pivetta. He really has some pretty workable stuff. But he seems to give up homers at a disproportionate rate… But that one was a solo shot and generally those don’t beat you in the 4th inning.
