Dana Holgerson Offense - What do we need?

I do wonder if Dowdell will be more effective with an offense that gets dudes out of the box more. When we lined up with a wide receivers who were shitty blockers, tight end who was a shitty blocker, and an OC that tipped the plays off by personnel it seems like a recipe to not be great.

I think EJ is still probably a better back but I don't think any of our personnel was maximized for at least 9 games last season

I think running into lighter boxes helped him a lot the last 3 games.

Gundy’s sister lives in Lincoln. His brother in law is a big wig with Nebraska Farm Bureau.

I’m not going to say that he’s going to be here. But it wouldn’t be shocking to me if he hung around Lincoln if he’s not at Okie St.
My sister works at OSU and she's big into the athletic department and wellness program. Things have been shaky for a few years with Gundy, the boosters and upper echelon of the University.

Gundy has a ranch, big cow herd and doesn't want to partake in the big NIL boom. I'm not so sure, now that his boys are QB's in college that he wouldn't rather just ranch and watch his boys play ball.

We need a RB that can house it anytime he touches the ball. Like a Maurice Washington type back. So many runs this year that could have been td’s in which our RB’s weren’t able to make guys miss in open field.

It’s always been a weird situation with Gundy and Okie State. Gundy and Pickens weren’t on great terms all the time. If I remember right he flirted with going to Tennessee.

If I recall, Gundy wanted this job when we fired Pelini as did Wittingham. Pickens and Gundy had fights and made up quite often from the sound of it.

I wonder if the Pickens family still gives money. I assume if T. Boone was still alive he would be throwing around some major money for players knowing he could be the big dog in the Big 12.
