I know Meah isn't being brought in to be a starter and play a lot of minutes, but hopefully we the Meah from last year that averaged 9 and 8 and was on the All-Pac 12 Defensive team. And not the Meah from this year that averaged 5 and 5 and battled multiple injuries throughout the year.

I think Meah likely will be starting. He is the only true center on the team. Both Morgan and Mast will likely play along side of him at the 4 and have the potential to slide down to center when he is out.

The reason why I am not more excited about this pick up is because he isn't the impact player that Milicic or Kyle would have been. But he isn't a bad pick up and he will positively effect this team next year.

Rollie Worster
Brice Williams
Juwan Gary
Rienk Mast
Braxton Meah
---------------
Gavin Griffiths
Connor Essegian
Ahron Ulis
Andrew Morgan

That is a pretty solid 9 and the size/versatility of Williams and Gary allows you to be pretty flexible with different lineups. If Mast is out for this next season, then I'd like to add 1 more PF/C. But if he is good to go, then I think Meah is the last piece to the roster.

Rollie Worster - 8 ppg (9.9 last year at Utah)
Brice Williams - 15 ppg (13.4 last year)
Juwan Gary - 12 ppg (11.6 last year)
Rienk Mast - 12 ppg (12.3 last year)
Braxton Meah - 5 ppg (5.3 last year at Washington)
---------------
Gavin Griffiths - 8 ppg (5.8 last year at Rutgers)
Connor Essegian - 5 ppg (3.2 last year at Wisconsin)
Ahron Ulis - 5 ppg (6.1 at Cockeye in 2022/23)
Andrew Morgan - 8 ppg (12.9 last year at NDSU)

That's 78 points a game...last year we average 77.7

That looks like a team that can get to the glass and keep the other team off.

Agreed! The scenario of PPG that I painted was just trying to show that it wouldn't be hard to replicate similar production to last year. That that being said, I think that roster might be closer to the mid 70's, not high. However, I think that this team that will likely be more efficient defensively and, as you mentioned, rebound the ball at a very high level. Coming off the best season we have had in years, I think that this next year's team should be even better.

Having a strong paint defender will also hopefully open up the possibility of putting more shooting out there that may be a liability defensively.

For example, you could maybe given Williams, Jabowski, Essegian, and Griffiths some run where that could be catastrophic defensively with Mast as the 5

I really wanted Milicic. This sounds crazy being it's Nebrasketball, but IMO, if they had added Milicic with everyone else they've added. I think we're looking at a top 20 team throughout the year next year. I do still think Fred is looking to add a stretch 4 type player. There were a handful of those type of players that entered the portal today or in the last couple days.
