+1. Lot of parallels to mcdermott begging people to give him a reason to stay in omaha.

A shitty boss makes it 5x harder to do your job and 10x harder to stay happy. A lack of a boss makes it impossible

The fact that this power struggle is spilling out into the national media (whether he intends to take the job or not) speaks to how ugly it’s getting. If he is just using this as leverage, this doesn’t strike me as a lever you pull lightly.

That is a hell of a big lever you are right. If he truly loves Nebraska, which I think he does, maybe this is his way of doing it and if it fails, he goes.
