I hope they cooled on him and we land Manske sp? Hate to say it but Saunders has a punchable face, I’d get over it if he was a 4 star qb that was N though.

The reasoning by the guy who dropped the CB is not all that compelling. Any highly regarded QB is going to visit a few schools multiple times and have a good relationship with the OC at those schools. I doubt the fact that UK wants to take more than one will be an appealing factor. That being said, I don't think he's the top of our board either. The Algona kid is bigger and can be a threat to run.
Saunders has been on campus multiple times, including earlier this month. His family has a strong bond with offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Liam Coen. I do not know where Saunders sits on their overall positional board but his timeline for a decision lines up better with UK's hopes it seems. I also think UK will try to take a few quarterbacks in the 2025 class out of necessity. With only three on scholarship after the season, and the possibility one of those two transfer out, the coaching staff will almost certainly need to explore the possibility of adding a transfer or a second high school prospect at the position.
Saunders is a smart player with a good feel for rhythm and what defenses are trying to do against him. He is rated a .9087 by the 247Sports Composite, which equates to the nation's No. 18 quarterback and the No. 258 prospect overall.

And now Kaapana commits to Michigan while Lacy is heavily trending Ole Miss. Is our rb board seriously going to have Hunter Andrews at the top now?

You could see the Ka'apana thing coming for the last couple of weeks as he turned out top be the only guy they were recruiting that would accept being the second RB in the class.

Ole Miss hasn't set up an OV for Lacy. Lacy is coming to Nebraska next weekend, that is it for the spring OV season as OVs have to stop for a month.

Even if a visit hasn't been set up, he's said himself Ole Miss is in front. So basically just gambling on if Ole Miss wants him or not barring knocking his socks off next week. From 5/23:
