Junior year for both

Ohio St did just fine

Air Noland

threw for 4095 yards
73% completion percentage
55 TDs, only 4 INTs
Runs the 100M in 11.89

Dylan Raiola

6'3"
team went 9-3 in AZ
threw for 2435 yards
64% completion percentage
22 TDs
5 INTs

Putting ‘The’ in The Ohio State University.

And we’ve got Haarberg running the option though! We fine.

It is the second largest class here, but obviously still really good football.

They talked about Air Noland on Cover 3. Bud Elliott from 247 said he's really good but to take his stats with a grain of salt. Apparently the team he plays for sent like 13 guys d1 last year and have the same amount this year. Bud basically said the team as a whole is a lot more talented than everybody they play.

Kind of like the schoiol Raiola played for last year, Chandler?

We’re happy to have you here at the online home of the Chandler Wolves, a Top 10 Nationally Ranked High School Football Team.

While Chandler High School takes pride in producing state football champions and seeing them ultimately get to the NFL - ranking 7th nationally among high schools with the most NFL Draft Picks

Chandler had an off year with Dylan at the helm last year, but they won 6 straight AZ championships from 2015-20

So what happened between Raiola's soph and junior year? He threw for 900 fewer yards and 10 fewer TDs. Injury? Different teammates? I'm still curious how he has remained a 5* (not saying he doesn't deserve it, I just don't know the backstory here)

I'm just telling you what a recruiting expert from the southeast said about Air Noland. Very good player but played on a team that was a ton more talented than everybody they played.

He switched teams/schools. Family moved from Texas to Arizona.

I don't either. Sophomore year he was playing in Burleson, TX. Junior year was at AZ powerhouse Chandler. Burleson was Division 5A-2. 6A is the biggest Texas division

I suspect he got to Chandler when things had dropped off a bit talent-wise. When On3 dropped him out of top player in February they alluded to the fact that he wasn't as dominating as a junior, but they left him top QB because he can make all the throws.

Burleson was not a dominate team, either. They were 8-4 when he was QB.

Gotcha, that’s the exact context I was missing haha. And he’s switching schools again this year too right?

yes, to Pinnacle, another AZ HS

In AZ, the top teams from divisions $A-^A go into the Open Division Champisonhip playoffs. Chandler was in the Open Division playoffs last year. Pinnacle was in the 6A playoffs
