Good morning scholars,

Posted this over on RSS but also want to get opinions from people who aren't complete morons. Let's take any of our 90s teams and match them up against the following and list and discuss who wins.....

1. 01 Canes
2. 2019 LSU
3. Any of Bama's teams the past decade
4. Clemson's teams the last 8 years or so

01 Canes intrigue me the most because of their physicality and speed. Still think we'd just pound them to death as speed tends to wear down the more the body is hit over and over again.

Goodness. No clue who'd win those matchups, but I'd gladly revert to Big 12 style PPV TV watching and pay good $$$ to see any of them.

95' was on a different level from 94 and 97. I think 95' beats anyone on that list...including Miami. We would have stuffed the run, and got in Dorsey's head. Also, do you really think that defense was better than the Cane defense in '94 with Ray Lewis and Warren Sapp??

I think 94 Cane defense was better than 01, more physical. 01 Canes team was too flashy for me, too much celebrating.

I think 95 Nebraska probably beats 2001 Miami, but gets beat by like 2005 texas, recent clemson, and 2019 LSU.

It's more that the game has changed so much. DLs are freakier, you've gotta go 4-5 deep with legit corners, Lawrence and Burrow can throw and run at a high level.

Yeah I think the dual threat QB aspect would play a pretty big factor
