I don’t think he’s running the offense he would like too it seems like a shell of his offense. Nebraska doesn’t have the personnel and honestly his style just seems to clash with what Rhule would like to do.
No, I don’t think they should fire Rhule. One with his extension and 71 million dollar buyout it’s virtually impossible. Two I think Rhule has the program moving in a forward direction. However I do think it’s fair to question his coaching, game management in big games. He’s in the B1G now a lot...
A missed opportunity at winning a game in November, beating a ranked team, winning 7 games, taking advantage of your school going all out to give you as much home field advantage as possible. Had tons of recruits visiting etc. idk why you assume everyone who’s upset about this loss thought...
Seems pretty fair given they were up 14-6 in the third when Raiola went down. If your back up QB is so bad that you just tack it up as a loss at that point that’s also on the coaching staff.
I don’t think anyone’s saying it’s a program changing loss. However it is a giant missed opportunity and 95% of that is because of lack luster coaching in all phases.
Must’ve missed him burning 2 timeouts to settle for zero points or running 45 seconds off the clock in the 4th before the 2 minute warning. No doubt Raiola getting hurt lowered the chances but Rhules game management has been atrocious for more than just this game and it continually costs them.
@Pepe Silvia remember when I said Rhules horrid game management and soft coaching is why he’s never beat a P5 top 25 team and you had an emotional breakdown and made a whole post about how stupid it was?
