I’m old enough to remember having to listen to all the games on the radio except the Oklahoma and bowl games. There’s some real first world problems in this thread.

Would have gladly done disgusting things to that lady...
Sir, I remember watching games with terrible reception on ABC channel 6 on the cable in the 308 back in the day. It was the Kearney station so I don't know why it was so bad but I remember it seemed like whenever there was a game on it was shitty. You guys are ancient
I used to work at a gas station when I was growing up and the whole town would shut down and we would listen to the games on the radio. Inevitably some out-of-stater would show up messing with our quiet afternoon.I’m old enough to remember having to listen to all the games on the radio except the Oklahoma and bowl games. Working retail in Nebraska during Nebraska football games you knew who the weirdos were that came in.I used to work at a gas station when I was growing up and the whole town would shut down and we would listen to the games on the radio. Yes it was. I purchased it as well.I used to buy the season ppv package that let me get the out of region ABC broadcasts. I think it was something like $100 for the year
Was that called ESPN gamelan?
who is gary & frankBack in the 80s and 90s; when I was working occasionally in New Jersey (1980s) I found a radio station that carried Nebraska games, that was nirvana. Similarly when I lived in SOCAL in the 90s there was a radio station that our devoted Southern Californians for Nebraska paid to carry all the Nebraska games, again nirvana .... Gary and Frank on the radio for every game 😍😍

Sounds about right. What’s the most “we’ve” ever had to pay for a PPV game back in the day? Were they $30? Was just talking about this who couldn’t remember that time.

I assume Gary Sadlemyer as Kent's co-pilot. Don't recall any noteworthy "Frank" on the radio broadcast teams, though.who is gary & frank
