We may not have to worry about having games on Peacuck much longer

rabid fan base that can’t live without the games.

not that there's anything wrong with that seinfeld GIF by myLAB Box

I’m old enough to remember having to listen to all the games on the radio except the Oklahoma and bowl games. There’s some real first world problems in this thread.
I used to work at a gas station when I was growing up and the whole town would shut down and we would listen to the games on the radio. Inevitably some out-of-stater would show up messing with our quiet afternoon.

Working retail in Nebraska during Nebraska football games you knew who the weirdos were that came in.

Now I think we're the weirdos for still watching.

I used to buy the season ppv package that let me get the out of region ABC broadcasts. I think it was something like $100 for the year

Was that called ESPN gamelan?
Yes it was. I purchased it as well.

That was when we were good...or semi good. Therefore I had a boner over almost every game.

Back in the 80s and 90s; when I was working occasionally in New Jersey (1980s) I found a radio station that carried Nebraska games, that was nirvana. Similarly when I lived in SOCAL in the 90s there was a radio station that our devoted Southern Californians for Nebraska paid to carry all the Nebraska games, again nirvana .... Gary and Kent on the radio for every game 😍😍
