I come from hearty Scandinavian stock
Im not looking to get it to 70 degrees in the winter, just to the point im not concerned about my hands going numb from holding the bar for a full set 😂

A few years ago I thought it was super sick to open my garage door everyday in the winter and lift for mental toughness lol I haven't done that for a while haha
Pot Roast going right now for tomorrow, chili thawing for chili dogs Sunday. Supposed to get ice and power loss, so kerosene heaters and wood stove ready, camping stoves out. Won't be that cold here relative to anywhere up North, but folks are freaking out and all the milk and bread gone from shelves. Milk sammys on other Ashevillian's menus. I know there are some Atlanta folks on here. Nothing like this kind of storm to shut down everything and babies start getting delivered on sides of the road. Meanwhile In laws are living in 0 degree weather with feet of snow on the ground and just another day up there.
We had our first scare the WiFi was off for a couple hours but it's back now. #FirstWorldProblems.

It is cold. I'm at our cabin on the Platte River tonight. By @Jim14510 stomping ground. It's warming up quick though in the confines of the cabin.
Great night to hot tub. 102 degrees in that water, the chill on your face feels refreshing.
Just came in from shoveling snow. Nice refreshing 28 degrees right now I think that will be the high tomorrow though then single digits tomorrow night.
Just had my very handy neighbor save my ass. We’re out of town and I’ve been watching the temp on the remote thermostat slowly fall all day.
I called him and asked if he’d slide over and check on things, and he immediately knew what was wrong with the furnace. He cleaned a sooty sensor and the house is warming again.
I’m buying him all the Crown Royal in gratitude when we get home.
