We are going to Maui at the end of March. I’ve never been to Hawaii and I’m quite excited.

How did you like Kauai? My wife has been there a few times for work and loved it.

Loved it. Low key island. So much to do. Wish we could have done more while we were there. The island is so different from east to west side.

We also did a sunset cruise to the Na’Pali coast and explored the Waimea Canyon.

Wife and I both agreed. If we ever won the lottery, that’s where we’d disappear to.

Would love to go to the Big Island someday.

The Grand Wailea is fantastic. Great place to stay!

Big recommendation to take the time and go watch a sunrise on Mt. Haleakala. The most amazing sunrise I’ve ever seen.

Went to Kauai 14 years ago. Loved it. Wish we could go back. But 5 kids makes that difficult. We’ll probably take our happy asses back to the emerald coast again this summer.

Originally this winter my wife and I were supposed to go to Hollywood Florida for a few days, just the two of us, but that changed a couple of weeks ago. Now we are going to Hyatt Zilara in Punta Cana with Becks seed the middle of February after a last second invite. My question is, my wife wants to do one of those big party catamarans since we have some friends on this Becks trip with us. Anyone done those there? Is there a good one?

Its basically everything Cancun is except everyone speaks English and perfectly safe on or off resort. You can do all inclusive but we didn't. We went and got groceries and cooked a few meals and ate out at the different restaurants. Not sure you can go wrong at the resorts but we stayed at Alaia. Someone else on the board was there same time as me and I think stayed in an Airbnb. Can't see anything wrong with that either if you had a group.

@HCFord1 I think stayed at more of a jungle type resort which i imagine would be fun too.

I land in Cancun in about 20 minutes. Plan on getting to the resort then not leaving haha

You can do that in Belize too if you want. Not really a sit in the pool/on the beach and drink all day person. Like doing something most of the day. Even if it's just going to a different beach.
