Back to Frager. Couldn't of happened at a worse time. 3 of our next 5 games are against #3, #11 & #4.

Our bench now consists of Jacobsen & Garcia. Absolutely brutal. Our starting 5 will need to step up even more with more minutes.

Or, Garcia gives us a stretch of 10-12 points/game like he did at Illinois.

Happens to everyone. Boswell broke his hand, etc.

Just win

They’ve covered it but not to the extent they are now. People have been asking about more basketball specific interviews, a few post game shows like they do for football for the bigger games (Pickle Smoochers as an example), they just stood up Robin’s Courtside YouTube page. I agree they’ve sent Robin to cover the team to an extent but very much felt like going through the motions with no creativity to content like they have for football and even wrestling and volleyball

It's the same with baseball... They didn't want to dedicate anything to covering baseball even during the good years.

I think there’s a better than 50/50 chance we see Frager back for the Michigan game.

He's a big loss off the bench. Momentum changer/accelerator. Expect us to drop a couple games. Which, long game, is probably good so we can get the unbeaten streak off our back.

Idk that they'll rush him. Obviously a brutal stretch to be without him, but I'd be surprised if they don't take the long view on it

I agree, but with most minor sprains, missing one game and having 6-7 days to recover is pretty much the “long game”. If I’m Fred and the trainers give Frager the OK and Frager says I feel 100%, I play him at Michigan.

Anything iffy, 80-90% I sit him and get him ready for the home games against Purdue and Illinois. Having him at Michigan would be great, but sitting him for a game that most people think they’ll lose anyway isn’t the end of the world. Also not impossible that we could beat Michigan without him, less likely, but by no means impossible.

All depends on grade of the sprain I guess

Yeah and this is a healthy young man - not an overweight middle-aged man like most on this board. I think he’ll be ready for Mich, but I don’t think he misses more than 2 games max

He’s a 19 year old kid who projects to play in the NBA with access to the best facilities in the world for rehabbing injuries.

If it’s a minor sprain he’ll be fine in short order.

To be fair are people listening to postgame basketball shows when Nebrasketball is in game 19 of a 10-22 season? Are people even reading articles at that point? Juice probably isnt worth the squeeze from Dean's empire.

Im hoping with this years run, we can finally be a regular above average P5 Basketball program going forward. Hopefully in our bad years we are a bubble team and good years we are talking about how high of seed we can get.

Nebraska at worst should be a Cockeye level basketball program and if Hoiberg is here for the long term, maybe Nebraska can become a Wisconsin level basketball program? That would be the dream. Hoping this is year 3 of like a 18 year run.
