TPB Travel thread

Will be in Nashville the middle of June for 3 nights with a group of people in their 40’s. I’ve never been to Nashville. Recommendations on where to stay and where to go to would be appreciated. Good food, drinks, and music are obviously a must.

Broadway is the touristy area, can be fun. Not sure your group or if they would care but the Johnny Cash museum is cool

The Bluebird Cafe is an interesting spot outside of the Broadway scene. Intimate setting and a mecca for songwriters as well as a career launchpad for some very popular musicians - highly recommend getting a reservation. Printers Alley is another good alternative to Broadway - different vibe, less chaotic but still a great live music scene.

Going to the big island and Kauai this summer. Any recommendations lmk.

Looking at Barbados for this winter around the holidays. Any recs lmk.

Fuck that Tropical shit. This boy is born and raised in God's country. Yankton, South Dakota. You want a good time farm style, Head west from Yankton and hit the Indian strip club. 10 dollars gets you a all-nighter around the world party package. Have no idea what that is, but bring penicillin. Or just go to the Bahamas
Is there still a strip bar in Lesterville? We have a friend that lives in Tyndall and he looked at us and says, "whatever you do, don't go to the strip club in Lesterville". We hoppped in the car after visiting him for a while and headed straight to Lesterville. I turned down a lap dance because I didn't want broken legs. This was probably 20-25 years ago.

Stayed in volcano national forest at the Kilauea Military Camp, was interesting BUT the park itself is pretty cool. Green sand beach is also pretty cool (reco spending the cash to take the truck down there). Black sand beach is also nice, sea turtles just hanging out in the water and on the beach.

My algorithm on my phone definitely thinks I need a tropical vacation. It's been 2 years so probably right.

This summer we are taking the boys to Northern Michigan (staying in Traverse City) but I'll probably start planning somewhere I can get sunburned here pretty soon.

Went to Kauai 14 years ago. Loved it. Wish we could go back. But 5 kids makes that difficult. We’ll probably take our happy asses back to the emerald coast again this summer.

Go to Loveless Cafe. It’s near Brentwood but it’s a legend for a reason.

Their biscuits are life-changing.

If anybody needs ideas for a SD vacation, please find the files attached.

- Activities in SD were the total activities we researched.

- South Dakota 2021 are the total number of activities we did over 11 days.

I personally recommend “Black Hills Aerial Adventure” out of Keystone. The brothel tour in Deadwood is a true eye opener.

We are going to Maui at the end of March. I’ve never been to Hawaii and I’m quite excited.
