Hmm, in thought he sidelined himself early in the year to maintain his eligibility then entered the portal after it opened but then left the portal after he was able to assess his situation. 🤔🤷🏼♂️

I think you need as many guys as possible that are 3rd and 4th year guys if you want to be competitive. He's has P4 ability, good he's back. Weird how he didn't play last year after having some moments his freshman year.
But a lot of kids had moments in the 2024 season because of Robinson and Nash commanding double teams.

from what I've gathered from comments the last couple of months, he was the one who decided to RS. I assume that meant he wanted to transfer.

He requested the redshirt - that's why he didn't play. I don't think he was very happy with the McCullough situation and how he was brought in and guaranteed the starting spot over him.
The plan was always for him to enter the portal this off-season. Him not playing had nothing to do with his abilities. Now, why he decided to come back, I'm not sure. But, IMO, this should be considered a portal victory.
