I would think that number would be similar to other teams too. Odds are, if you're a multi-time transfer, you're just not as good as you think.

fwiw:

Of the 1,194 players who left Power 4 schools, 505 (42.3%) ended up at P4 schools, 367 (30.7%) moved down to Group of 5 programs and another 120 (30.7%) signed with FCS and lower-division programs.

At the time of the article, 16.9% of the P4 transfers were unsigned.

So the 42.3% avg is more than double Rhule & the Gang’s rate (<20%)

Brutal

Perhaps

I think it’s indicative of Rhule’s ability to identify and acquire/develop talent regardless if it later enters the portal

It’s just glaringly obvious (and will once again slap us in the face on draft day) that we don’t have many (any?) actual dudes on the roster
Of course you think that.

But I'd bet if you look at a mass majority of multi time transfers, they don't pan out. Maybe they have great measurables or something to get coaches thinking they are worth a try, but they just aren't generally worth it.

We haven’t had a ton of transfer in, transfer out guys

This is predominantly Rhule’s high school additions

He isn’t even bringing in guys other P4 schools consider developmental projects much less actual contributors

Stats are posted above. 42% of P4 transfers go to other P4 schools.

Unless you were recruited by Rhule and NU - then that number drops below 20%.

Then I guess I misread your first post thinking this was about portal players he has brought in that turned around and left, hence why I mentioned multiple times multi-time transfers.

I don’t think Rhule is the only one making these decisions. There is probably like 5-10 guys all giving input.

Of the 41 players Rhule has brought in and later transferred, only 8 went to P4 programs. 8!

We are not seeing portal entries because why would we? These guys have it made here and there’s no market at this level for them.
Lmfao at thinking you can evaluate players who didn't transfer by looking at those who did.
