UCF guy and ?
He did only play in 7 games this season due to an injury. So, take that into account when looking at stats. Is good?
lol I read your post wrong. My bad. They wish they had my spreadsheet
Agreed. We really can’t afford to miss on big financial swings, especially at that position.I’d actually be pretty hesitant to spend “a very big number” on an oft-injured guy who won’t be available for spring ball and has played fewer than 300 snaps in his career.
On these guys you pay per poundFrom Dean:
“
HuskerOnline can confirm UCF defensive tackleHorace Lockett is indeed visiting Nebraska. The 6-foot-6, 355-pound Grant has played in just four games over the last two seasons.
In 2025, Lockett played 113 snaps in four games, logging an 85.2 grade on PFF. He did not play in 2024. Grant came to UCF from Georgia Tech, where he played a combined 171 snaps over the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
A source with knowledge of Lockett's recruitment told me he's "asking for a "very big number" as Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, South Carolina and others are involved.
He's expected to miss most, if not all, of the spring with an upper-body injury that took him out for the season following Central Florida's Week 5 game at Kansas State.”

The time for projects has passed need production over potential at this point.Agreed. We really can’t afford to miss on big financial swings, especially at that position.
