I agree. OTOH, a guy in our neighborhood graduated IU last year said he met Mendoza last Jan in a bar and asked him what he was doing there and Mendoza said, “Well, I’m new to school and thought I should try to meet some people.” This guy of course says, “I don’t think that’s going to be a problem.”

Anyway, he said Mendoza is actually as humble as he comes off, despite his odd appearance in interviews.

Just throwing this out there. Maybe Nebraska football fans should just start showing up random playoff games, kind of like LSU baseball fans do at the CWS whether they’re in it or not . Instead of going to the Pin Stripe Bowl to watch NU play, just wear your Husker gear, and go to whatever nice bowl game you want to go to.
