Breaking SI Thinks Dyl, effed up...

Just don’t think you can let him back. Maybe you take it to the locker room, but unfortunately we don’t have a very strong unity council or player leadership. Which, ironically, is at least partially due to relying so heavily on Dylan for everything, including leadership.
It would be a hard sell to the team and to coaches. I think there’s no way they should consider it despite my thinking of what’s best for next season. They are establishing a QB type they want going forward and it’s not Dylan.

If he left bc he needed $$ for his family I'd consider letting him return and complete for the starting quarterback position. But nope, he's all about Dyldough and likes to believe he's the real Patrick Mahomes. I'll take someone hungry, competitive and deserving a shot before I let him back on campus. If I was a teammate I'd be pissed...

Emmett entered the portal a year ago over NIL. Yes, he had every right to do so based on his 2024 season.

DR? I don't think so. But, a precedent has been set. And I truly hope Rhule tells them to pound sand. Or, return at a significantly reduced amount.
Emmett entered the portal prematurely last year. He hadn’t even had a chance to hear Nebraska’s offer. Once he did he came back. Not really the same situation.

I would lose a ton of respect for Rhule if he took Dylan back after the clown fiesta that it turned into.
To be fair, do we have anything that’s not entirely hearsay with Dylan?

If the rumors are true, fuck em all. But if they are just rumors (which we know happens all too well) we would be foolish to not let him back; with restrictions, if again, the family dictation rumors are true.

Also gotta take into account Dylan's injury. The guy was slower than 99% of tPB and nervous af in the pocket pre-injury, just imagine how bad things will be coming off of a major leg injury.

Guaranteed to miss a bowel if we give that fam another chance.

Edit - corrected type of injury, wasn't a knee injury but the point still stands

Missing a bowel is horrible. 🤣

If Rhules statement to Dylan and Dom is true about what he’d get for NIL and it’s on our terms now, I’d take him back. If not, he can figure it out on his own. I question if we would be able to get someone better.
Someone with as much arm talent? Not likely, someone who can step up in a pocket and gain positive yards more often than not? Very likely. Someone who runs out of the tunnel with the team instead of out in front by himself? Most definitely.

We let him come back IF he goes to Russia and completes a Rocky 4 like training regiment.

Anything short of that and his fat ass can transfer to Florida Atlantic.

If Dylan were to come back with restrictions, does anyone really believe Dom would adhere to them? He can't help himself-it's what he does.
