Nebraska H.S. Football Classifications for Next 2-Year Cycle

Will be interesting to see what happens to Lexington with Tyson closing shop. I'd be willing to bet dozens if kids don't come back after Christmas break.
They had some really good programs in some of their sports. Feel bad for the coaches, kids, families and that community. For example, their cross country/track and field had one heck of a development program for long distances. Hopefully most of the kids won’t be impacted and have high school interrupted.

I'm completely ignorant to the plight of the people in ag-communities, but what has allowed large corporations to monopolize ranching and farming operations?

1. Large corporations control everything, farmers basically become contractors to corps
2. Volume and scale is name of game
3. Low crop prices from 2014 to 2020 and 2024 to current started selling off
4. Increased cost of operation (equipment). A combine in 2025 costs $800k vs $200k in 2015. continued selloff
5. Interest rates continued selloffs
6. High cost, drought, low cattle prices until recently
7. Lack of generational farming because of all of the above

Grand Island leads the state in male enrollment?

They've been the largest enrollment school in the state for several years now.
Well color me shocked. They used to be down in the dumps with lil ol' Fremont - now they are a thriving metropolis.

Fuck Grand Island btw.

The point is very few are getting turned away. That school is how big it is because of how many kids want to go there. It's not controlling enrollment to stay in class b. They could have 100 more kids and still be B.
Agree. Schools that depend on tuition dollars to keep their doors open are not in the habit of turning away tuition dollars.
