I think Dylan is an average QB nowhere near with the money he was being paid. Throw in having to employ his worthless Uncle, giving a scholly to younger bro who isn’t a P4 QB, dealing with daddy, coaches not being able to coach him hard or criticize and the weird Mahomes cosplay I think he was a net-negative for Nebraska.

Those flaws have been present for sometime time, yet, many Husker fans had such a strange infatuation with him and would potato or jump on anyone who brought up that stuff.

He will go somewhere else and be an average QB for them. At least they won’t have to deal with what Nebraska was putting up with (minus the Mahomes weirdness and daddy), so maybe it won’t be such a bad thing for whoever gets him.

I would argue the hate against him was more of a infatuation than the unwarranted defense/like of Dylan
