Breaking Dylan to portal

Breaking Dylan to portal

Yeah, well...Cig is his own thing and I think he's probably the only one playing that way.

But it's not like Mendoza was some nobody. They paid for him and it worked out well for both parties.

That’s my point. Mendoza comes in without an entitled attitude, works his ass of and they win. Sure he got paid, but anyone we bring in from the portal is going to get paid.

Annoying. Nebraska basically sacrificed the 2024 season on offense to get him seasoning. Nebraska was going to get McCord and probably would have went on to have a 8-4ish season under him. Smh
Definitely interesting to play the "would we have ended up better with McCord". I know I really liked McCord, but you can't fault a coach for taking the overall #1 (or #3 depending on sources)

I have seen nothing from anyone that has Dylan didn't work his ass off, in fact it's been reported a lot that he was a great teammate.

Who didn’t play particularly well and is blaming that on his surroundings and taking his ball and moving on to a place that can better prepare him for the NFL.

That doesn’t exactly scream ‘Team’ to me.

This all stems from Dom getting butt hurt when Lateef played really well against UCLA. He looks like the better player for one game and daddy loses his shit.

I don't fault Rhule, I think anyone takes Raiola in that scenario. It just very annoying in hindsight. Nebraska bends over backwards for a guy, lets him get his sealegs in college football, and then he leaves. . Its not like he was bad here or didnt get a fair shake, he was a good player, Nebraska built their entire offense around him, then just dips out when they should start reaping the benefits.
