The way I read is the 10.5 applies to this year only and then they’ll pay 15/year going forward. I’m assuming they’ve already paid ~10ish to us this year already.

So rev share to foosball is what $15mm? If so then next year this would bump it to $30mm without booster support. Would need another $10mm per year to match the very top of cfb. Dannon is a great fb AD if he pulls that off and doesn’t have to spread it to other programs!

How perfect would have the BCS system been this year? Winner of B1G champ game and winner of SEC champ game. Those games themselves are the real 4 man playoff

I've been saying it forever, but regardless of how big or how small the championship system/playoff gets, there aren't more than 4-6 legit contenders for it in any given year (usually fewer), and everyone knows who they are by season's end.

Yep. A lot of it has to do with funding.

What do you mean? I personally love how the big ten championship game between OSU and Indiana is going to mean absofuckinglutely nothing. In fact, as we saw last year, who wants to win and get a bye and sit for 6 weeks? I’d rather be a 5 and get a tune up game against a 12 in.

The championship games need to go too. They have more potential to confuse matters than provide any clarity.
