Maybe they relish Nebraska looking like shit without their boy? Maybe they think it will increase Dylan’s value? Maybe they’re a bunch of petty selfish greedy mother fuckers because stunts like this will only marginally affect his value, but can potentially hurt Nebraska more than it can help them.

Shit’s starting look like a duck, walk like a duck and quack like a duck…
The Raiolas are very calculated and only have 1 goal in mind — get Dylan to the nfl.
Dylan only came to Nebraska when they weren’t getting assurance from uga that Dylan will start as a true freshman or redshirt freshman. Georgia knew they had something is Stockton. Nebraska was offering him to start and money. Easy decision.
Now he’s played two years (relatively avg) and has had a broken leg. They need to leverage what they can to get a new team and blame Nebraska for the poor production numbers.

This is accurate.

What I’ll add is that as a freshman, I thought the likelihood that he ended up in the NFL and had an actual career was high. Like 90+% high. Right now? Man. I’m just not sure.

He’s shown flashes of really, really good play, so I know it’s in there. He’s also looked like a guy who has no internal play clock and seems to read his progressions…slowly. From what I’ve heard of Dom, he’s likely blaming that on Nebraska’s staff.

His only real shot at the NFL is to play. A lot. If they collectively see a battle in ’26 for playing time, that’s likely the biggest driver to any real noise.

Its definitely a dangerous game they could be blaming.

Let's say this is the Raiola camp doing this and then they do decide to have Dylan transfer to an Adidas school to play one more year and to show off his talents. What if that doesn't work out and Dylan struggles there as well? Wouldn't that make it look like Dylan is the one having the issues and not Nebraska putting him in the best spot.

Now, if he decides to stay and play one more year here, he's going to be the one who starts next season. Lateef is good and will be better, but he's not ready to lead this team next season as the QB. Its another toss a player to the wolves and hope. Raiola finishes out his career here next year, shows his talent, gets a mid-draft grade, and then ultimately has the whole "Love Nebraska, but not the best offense to show my talent" which you really can't argue with.

Nothing to disagree with here.

It will be an interesting off season for sure.

One thing I’m wondering is exactly what system is best suited to showcase his talent? I’m not asking to be sarcastic, because from what I’ve seen of his play and other D1 offenses, I’m really not sure. He struggles with or is uncomfortable throwing deep balls. He’s often slow in his decision making process, which goes against nearly all modern offensive tenants. Give him unlimited time from an elite line and elite WR talent and he’d likely excel. There’s a long list of D1 quarterbacks who could say the same thing, so I can’t really come up with a team I’d stick him on that he’d look appreciably better day one.

Off season will start with his announcement after the Cockeye game.

No way he transfers there but I actually think a team like Cockeye might suit him best.

I doubt he gets more money if he leaves.
He’s not leaving for some great program with tons of nil money at their disposal.
He’s been a mediocre qb, especially against big 10 teams.
It would be a team equal to Nebraska that’s desperate. He’s not a 5 star. He’s a 3 star transfer. Maybe 4 start.
First school I thought of was Miami.

It’s going to be nice watch the game and put this behind us. Just turn on the old CBS and not hear a word about it.
Yep just some nice wholesome commentary about TJ Lateef who is starting for no reason in particular
