I am of the opinion that the Minnesota game was a devil's brew of a whole bunch of shit. Short week. And I don't care what anyone says now Rhule was listening to Penn St. and that also had to impact the team. And coaches. We came out with a game plan that required us to have two very good pass blocking OT's when we have none that are even ok at it. That whole game looked and felt like a Frost special. As in a team that was not really interested or invested.
Yep and it sucks. Being 8-2 right now would feel so fuckin great.

They talked way too much about the short week and travel in the pressers. Seemed like they didn't even practice.

Over 1/3 of his yards and 2 of his TDs came on those two drives.

We never possessed the ball in the 4th within one score aka we never had a real chance of winning, they’re empty stats
I didn't know that Dylan was responsible for the run defense getting gashed all game. He scored in clutch moments and was the only reason that game wasn't a 21 point loss.

I think the most likely scenario is that Dylan is the starter next year (you don't lose your starting job due to injury) and TJ will be deployed in certain situations/ goal line packages next year so he still gets on the field.

Anyone who doesn't think Dylan is back next year and TJ is the guy in 2027 doesn't understand how Rhule operates.

Will take a pretty big check to get TJ to stick around. I’m sure he’s already getting offers from other schools.

Based on his comments and what we've heard on the board about NIL commitment. I don't think he's leaving. Seems like a pretty big culture guy.

I think the reality is this staff is tied to Dylan. Even if he’s not the best option. Retained Unc as OL coach just to get him here. Spent however many million in NIL. They’re gonna ride or die with him, even if TJ is better. Which is unfortunate.

I predict if TJ plays well these last three games, he portals.

I think people have this idea that Rhule is too nice to make the hard decisions and it couldn't be farther from the truth.

If, after these next three games, he feels Lateef is the better option, I'm very, very confident he'll ride with Lateef.

Mac Jones?

i said i will be, i didnt say i was mad. calm down drinkitin

Easy there—I wasn’t saying YOU were mad. I'm just admiring how this thread has everything, and if it evolves into a preemptive outrage showcase. I’m here for it.

He’s getting $4MM

Meh I didn’t know the numbers so I just guessed. I just know Dylan’s going to be a lot more expensive than TJ.

Dylan will 100% be a better NFL prospect but if you’re trying to get a team to the next tier, I think TJs a better choice for the bang for your buck.

An extra $2-$3M buys quite a few lineman.

I'm not a Raiola hater. If Lateef finishes the year 4-0, I would bet money Raiola is not back next year.
