Yeah I’d take it. I think Trae is our starting QB in 2027 either way honestly. If Dylan doesn’t have the stock to go pro after next season, he will portal. This is just my opinion.

There are examples of the backup truly being better (Ganz while here, JT Barrett at OSU after Cardale won the job) but I'm sure it's the exception to the rule. I would welcome the scenario because finishing 3-0 would be huge.

The Minnesota game is such a black eye for this staff. They are not a good team. No one showed up for us that game (coaches and players alike).

None of the three remaining teams on the schedule are as good as USC or Michigan. And while Penn State still has talent, I'm absolutely convinced half their roster is going to start sitting out the rest of the season after they lose their next two games and are sitting at 3-7.

I think he throws for 150, Runs for 60-70. Dylan was throwing for 185 and losing 50 rushing and if we don't count sacks, DR was rushing for maybe 15 yards a game..

I wouldn’t do that. There’s no pressure on TJ at all in the last 3 games. If he loses he was suppose to and if he doesn’t he’s the man. If you add the pressure it does start to become a different ball game

Obviously Lateef brings a new wrinkle that teams are going to have to prepare for which gets me excited but like many have said ball security worries me. Also he doesn’t look very big out on the field and could get broke in half.

When that happens it’s almost always a highly rated true freshman/RS freshman and an upperclassman starter. Young talent that hasn’t been in the program very long. You rarely see that with a sophomore or junior backup that’s been in the program for a couple years. That guy is almost never better than the starter.

With a loss Saturday there's going to be a lot of pressure within the program, even without it being on TJ specifically. We'd be staring at a 6-6 season after extending Rhule and it would be a failure any way you look at it

When that happens it’s almost always a highly rated true freshman/RS freshman and an upperclassman starter. Young talent that hasn’t been in the program very long. You rarely see that with a sophomore or junior backup that’s been in the program for a couple years. That guy is almost never better than the starter.

Aren't the examples I provided not consistent with that, though? They might be anecdotal in regards to what we're discussing -- just a couple I thought of off the top of my head.
