I really fucking hate how Cockeye has weaponized sick kids as a referendum on their opponents.

It’s fucking trash behavior. And it sucks that the Cockeye (and Big 10) Athletic writer plays along.

They use this to try to goad opposing teams into doing a “fuck them kids” situation.

It’s a nice thing to do if you don’t make a big deal about it. When you make it a spectacle it’s virtue signaling to the max.
