I would add PJ Fleck. I hate his persona, but I love the way his teams play. And, of course, he is doing it all with way less money and fan support in an area that also lacks for talent.

I don’t know why people scoff at him when he actually plays the way Rhule alleges he wants to play (sound, physical football, rather than whatever the fuck we’re doing). I would trade the two coaches in a second.

Lmao you even changed to his pic in profile. Look, I love coach Schu. Something is off with him and our D though. Hasn't looked right since Coach Boom and Lanning left. Boom left after 23, and you saw our D last year and this year. We have talent, but something is missing. That gritty mean get after their ass personality seems to be lacking. I don't know if it's Schu or something else. I have no clue how he'd be as a CEO. He might be a great HC, idk. Nebraska is the job a good to great head coach takes imo. Coordinator is a gamble.

We for sure lost some guys we would love to have now because of portal, but no. This group is extremely talented. I hope every weekend they show up. 2nd half of games they look better, but they don't seem to have a mean bone in their body. Also, I think this is one of Kirby's favorite teams he's had. Not sure how or if that matters, but I sure hope we start seeing it soon. We've been low key wanting Schu to get a HC job so Boom would come back. He didn't want to be Co-DC so he is only an analyst.

You watch Miss at UGA yesterday? Wild our D is cheese cloth until 4th and then it's Guantanamo. No clue why or what that is. Schu has a ton of talent on that side of ball, and they look confused and out of place for most of game. Even in 4th there were some very helpful throws from Ole Miss that killed drives. It's every week though, and thank goodness for our offense keeping us in games. Never thought that'd be the case under Smart.

I’m in favor of them buying MR out and hiring him. NU would win in that scenario. Don’t think that happens though. Think MR leverages this into a contract extension thus miring NU further into highly overpriced subpar mediocrity.

It may affect their third and forth teamers but they are high level blue chip players 2 to 3 deep. It’s just not like the Bama Saban days where they were four deep with blue chip players. That’s plenty enough to be deeper and more talented than 98% of college football teams.
