That dude’s best days are way behind him. Finally got to watch the game today and man did he struggle. Continually got players names wrong, didn’t know who was on the game at times, kept saying that Barney called for a fair catch, etc. Then he wouldn’t shut up about the refs not blowing the fumble return dead because it was a forward pass. It wasn’t as obvious as he thinks and I believe refs are inclined to let a play keep going like that knowing that replay can correct it if they are wrong.

Yeah he mysteriously brought up Vegas and odds right after MSU's long pass to the goal line. Devin Gardner being kind of slow upstairs took a bit to catch on but then was like "But of course you wouldn't bet on the game" wink wink nudge nudge

I like Brando as far as those folks go. I don't mind when broadcast team makes some mistakes as long as they aren't clueless throughout or biased in their presentation.

Yeah I notice it during the game but I couldn’t give a fuck less if they call our punter who is 18 a 2 time all big 10 player. Beats the hell out of listening to Gus Johnson screaming dumb shit for 2.5 hours.

That reminds me how annoying a broadcast is if they are either using a thesaurus in word choice or have given a nickname to a player that they repeat over and over and over. Also, if the broadcast repeatedly brings up other teams that aren't playing the game they are calling. Gary and Vern would talk about Alabama for 40% of the time during say a Ky UGA game. Even worse if Bama was playing at the same time. I actually liked them both, but that drove me crazy. I like Kirk H as well, but if your team is playing tOSU then it isn't exactly level and unbiased from him. He used to be the opposite and would go out of way to be extra critical of tOSU.
Jesse Palmer did a great job this past weekend calling UGA/KY game, and his critique of UGA's issues on D were excellent. I hope it reaches the ears of the coaches.

I absolutely hated when in the beginning of the game, an MSU defender got a little aggressive in pass protection against our WR and Brando says, 'looks like the refs are going to let them play."

Fast forward a quarter and our DB does the same to their WR in the endzone, "That should have been interference" or "That should have been holding on that DB."
