Interesting - I remember when HH first came in the games at QB running the option, & one of the things the staff said was that they had to teach him to avoid contact more.

Gonna chalk it up as a dumb quote to temper expectations. Frost had about three dumb quotes every press conference, would write that quote off.

Cover 3 podcast today did half of the Big 12 win totals. When they talked about the Cincinnati game vs Nebraska, Bud Elliott said that Nebraska was still waiting on an injured OL that could impact that game. I'm pretty sure he was talking about Corcoran.

I only point this out because I love Cover 3 podcast. I think it's the best national college football podcast out there, especially for gambling. But it also goes to show that national guys generally don't know what they are talking about when it comes to the day to day operations of a program.

Turner Corcoran is a back up if he makes it back. That injury impacts Nebraska if someone else gets hurt I suppose but for that to be a reason that game could be close according to Cover 3...is a bit silly.

When you tell me this and act like you love Bud Elliot, I would tell you he only pays attention to about 3 teams in the ACC and 4 teams in the SEC.

So I think he's fucking ignorant and not worth your time when listening to him discuss the Big Ten.

Besides Nelson my sleeper at RB is going to be Genatone 6' 220, 10.5 in the 100, Class A State wrestling champion at 220, good all around athlete. Maybe a goal line back at minimum?

I'm staying in wait and see mode. Been burned way too many times. This doesn't influence my thoughts what so ever, and the fall camp thread seemed like a good place to put this. My dad recently played golf with a former Nebraska QB who told him he doesn't think they'll be any better than they were last year. Take it FWIW.

Oh I disagree. I think Bud is pretty sharp. I don’t like how reliant he is on his power rating and recruiting ranking and I agree he’s more dialed into the southeast. I just don’t think you can ask national guys to be dialed into any one team. So it’s just a reminder that when they make comments like that to take them with a grain of salt.

How many points in a spread or game would a maybe OL change? Interesting.
I've never heard of anyone that I respect in the gambling field ever mention this?
