The serious answer is the four countries which supplied the largest number of immigrant settlers to Nebraska were Germany, Sweden, Denmark and Bohemia (Czech).

My best friend is from Muskegon, MI - I have spent time in the frozen tundra. I understand the heritage and demographics of the region. Just an observation on my part. Football Camps look different in these parts.

I misread and thought you said fans. You're right about recruiting being quiet right now. I think either Carm or Vail saying recruits might be waiting to see how season plays out. I'm ready for some games.

For us at least 2026 recruiting is probably dead until the season starts unless something pops up out of the blue. I think they are only looking at maybe 4 or 5 more high school recruits in the class.
There has been a lot of talk from the recruiting guys about second recruitments on guys that committed elsewhere if NU can put together some more wins. It's probably going to take more than a few wins to get some of those guys to flip in my opinion though. If l'm a guy like Devin Jackson for instance sitting at Oregon and the money is basically the same and NU only goes 8-4 I don't think that's going to be enough to make a move.
Could grab a few guys later that figure out that they are not going to get what they were promised.
They might be waiting on some more film for a few guys senior season to see if they are worth offering too.
