I guess it depends on if he knew they were going to take two or not. If he thinks he can beat this guy or not he can stay and transfer out next year. A year at Alabama wouldn't look too bad on the resume.

Not just that but im guessing he will get paid more at Bama to be 4th string QB than any kind of QB at ISU, the are basically paying their players with hugs and high fives.

what I read said Alabama was very careful about this and probably "overcommunicated" to both QBs that there would be two in the class

Agreed. Based on the Texas on3 board, we outbid them. However, I don't think they planned to break the bank for him.
