Seems like most situations similar to this involve someone who either felt slighted by the group they attacked in someway, or has some sort of history with them.

Horrible story and glad it sounds like the death toll didn’t increase from when I first read about it last night. 2 is too many, but that setup sounds like it could’ve been so much worse. Prayers to everyone involved.

It definitely could have been worse. Firefighters don't exactly show up with firearms so when they get there they would have no ability to fight back. You would be pinned down with no way to defend yourself other than hiding the best you can.

I don't think anyone is close to starting a fire to ambush firefighters level insane but you never know.

This is my frustration when one of these abhorrent events happen. Both sides are quick to paint a politically motivated picture through tribalism, and because of social media, that shit gets shared everywhere by grifters looking to capitalize on it.
