Did we drop the ball here or was Thomalla never interested in us?
Bama missed on everyone on their QB Board and then late in the game started looking around for guys committed to non-P2 programs. They wanted a QB in this class, but each of the 3 older classes has one, too. Look at the guy in the 2025 class.

4star FSU Safety commit on campus.

He just did his OV at FSU this past weekend. Wonder if they told him he was no longer in the class? They may have felt he wasn't all in. FSU has another 4 star committed to Oregon coming to OV this weekend.

Hughes just finished an official visit to the Seminoles program he's committed to this weekend prior to stopping into Nebraska. It has been thought his recruitment is "a bit more up in the air" by even those close to the FSU program. The DB also has a visit scheduled with Syracuse this weekend. Nebraska, FSU and the Orange are also main teams that have been in the running for Kamron Wilson.

Originally having committed to FSU last July 4, Hughes was a standout at the the Battle 7-on-7 tournament in South Florida back in January. At 6-3, 180 pounds he has great length and has showed it off well at the various camping circuits. He had a connection with Nebraska for a while too, although it started with Evan Cooper, now at Florida State.

Nonetheless, the Huskers have coaching and player links obviously still well connected to Miami.

And Hughes' visit to Nebraska comes off what Husker fans would probably see as a promising interview NU commit CJ Bronaugh gave to the FSU site after his visit there. While the battle for his talents goes on, "I'm just going to see this last visit (to Penn state) and I'm still locked in with Nebraska obviously but things can change. But right now it's still Nebraska," he said.

I’ve heard Bama was struggling to get someone super high end because of Russell. The reports are that he’ll be a 3-year starter for them. Which means whoever they get in this class won’t be in consideration for starting until their redshirt sophomore year. And who knows what they’ll also have on campus then. So, why go there now?

Excited for Jett. That’s awesome he’s going to bama.
