Nebraska made their pitch to Fruitland (Idaho) offensive tackle
Kelvin Obot over the weekend.
With the No. 1 prospect in Idaho in Lincoln for an official visit, his second of four to close out June, the Huskers had him back on campus after hosting him for Junior Day and last fall's game against Wisconsin.
"The visit was great," said Obot. "What stood out was the relationships between the players and coaches."
Nebraska coaches, namely offensive line coach Donovan Raiola and Matt Rhule, spent much of the weekend with Obot.
"I like the coaches at Nebraska," said Obot.
Obot was hosted by Tyler Knaak but spent time with a bunch of other players and recruits.
"Tyler Knaak was my host and I spent a lot of time with the offensive linemen, Ryan Miret, Rex Waterman and Hayden Ainsworth," said Obot.
With his third visit to Lincoln, Obot has grown fond of the town.
"I like Lincoln," said Obot.
Next up for Obot are trips to Oregon and Michigan.
Then, he'll make a decision.
"I am planning to commit whenever it feels like the right time," said Obot.
