He hasn’t had 4 stops. The Oklahoma St stuff was bad, no denying that. He was never on the Cockeye wrestling team. He was training at their RTC during the season with possible plans to join the team the following year. Someone posted the video, he didn’t punch a teammate or a ref. It was more of a slap or a tap and he accidentally caught the ref it. Certainly douche bag behavior.

With that said, he went to Cal Bakersfield and by all account put his head down and got to work, was a great teammate. When he lost in semis at NCAA’s this year everyone was expecting him to have a meltdown and he gave a relatively mature interview. Most people in wrestling community felt this past year performance on and off the mat made him deserving of another shot at a major school.

Definitely a risk involve and all eye balls are going to be on Manning and Nebraska as this kid is the biggest draw in wrestling at the moment. People wanting to watch a train wreck. I think Manning is confident in the guys and leadership in his room for this to work.

First paragraph is I guess what optics you are looking at it from. I'm pretty sure the MWC staff would tell you "ya he wasn't on the Cockeye team but that's because they kicked him off for what he did, he was trying to prove he could be a good teammate and it didn't happen." Ok State, Cockeye, Cal Bakersfield, committed to UNC but then they told him 'no' for all his past stuff, now Nebraska. They are actually saying "5th stop" though I'm not sure you can really count UNC other than it as just a point that major programs are still not ok with what the kid has done.

I'd prefer they stay away, but I also respect what Manning has done here and I am not a wrestling guy so I just try to listen to what people in the community say. There's some pretty strong words coming from them against this. But there's also people that are fine with it, so my stance is "whatever". I do know Dannen has already "received a few emails about it." I'll be curious if he actually makes it here or not.

Manning and the University wont tolerate his shit if he gets out of line. We’ve moved on from talented guys in the past, and will again if needed. Tervel will beat his ass down each day if that is what is necessary

Easier to rape when you have a large organization to help cover it up. Once you're pro then you have to face legit laws straight on. That is why UGA football players sometimes wait a year for the draft. The school helps them pay the $26.00 speeding tickets and sometimes gets the speeding expunged from the record. Insurance rates are a killer with a ticket or two in your history.

Well I guarantee you nobody at MWC is going to not send a kid to Nebraska because of Ferrari’s past history. Now, if for some reason they felt Cade got screwed over by Nebraska staff on this deal in promises made or not communicating than that is where you are going to have a problem.

Wrestling community is pretty forgiving about stuff because there are a lot of crazy ass dudes in wrestling. Heck, one of the best youth coaches in Omaha is a felon and just got out of prison but a bunch of people, me including, still send their kids to get mentored by him because he is a great coach and develops kids.
