Oh I think it’s definitely debatable as the defense had a slight drop off losing Suh, but massive gain on offense with Tay at QB.

Does either of those 2009 or 2010 team beat Solich’s 1999 team for third place? I don’t think so.

No.... I do think that 2010 team is a playoff contender if they keep Taylor healthy in the playoff era.

It’s amazing to think if there was just 1 year overlap between Suh and the 2010 team defense how filthy it would have been

Or if Lavonte David was 2 years older and played on the 09 and 2010 teams

I think Frost and Chin with Riley’s 2016 team goes 8-4 or better.

Tommy Armstrong = huge upgrade
Newby = huge upgrade at RB
OL = better
WR = way better

Defense = better athletes for sure and Chin >> Banker

Man, I just don't know how you can say that Chins is better than Banker. Looking at total defense rankings, Banker's last season we were ranked 33. I don't think Chins has cracked the top 60 yet.

I always thought the 2006 team was kind of underrated. that team was just a couple of missing pieces away from being top 10 caliber. Callahan tweaked the offense that year to be more run-focused and they had 4 pretty decent RBs, plus Taylor was an ideal QB to avoid mistakes and grind it out. the DL was really solid as well (and probably the last time we had 2 really good DEs on the field together. If that team was just a little more explosive at WR and/or TE they could have had something

I understand the 2018 pick, but I believe Frost's best team is still 2021....and if that isn't an indictment, I don't know what is?
