I’m surprised by $500k. I’m pretty sure that is 4-5x what we were offering. And I think Miami was only a little higher than us. No shit they jumped in the lead when that kind of money was being thrown around.

Honestly if he’s just looking at a low 6 figure deal from Nebraska or Miami he should go back to NDSU.

He’ll be a rotational piece either place. Stay at NDSU and run for 1k yards a year the next 3 seasons and he’ll probably get drafted.

I read on a Miami site that Miami was offering between $50K and $100K, which sounds about right for a guy who would be a in a 3-way split for snaps.

I think their number was actually 140k, but I don’t know if that’s Nebraska-slant to pump up the oppositions number and validate the “we will be his lowest offer” storyline. I think ours was in the upper part of the range you just gave for Miami.
