We were the last in this series of unofficial visits

His Dad is the HC of his HS team and both his Mom & Dad went on the 5 visits.

MSU seems really interested. No report anywhere on his visit to Lincoln yesterday.

Interesting to see UConn offer some Omaha kids - feel like the path for most of these guys is usually K-State, Cockeye State, MAC or Dakotas

Will be interesting if more G5s start sniffing around Omaha and the surrounding areas

technically UConn is one of the 3 FBS Independents, along with Notre Dame and UMass (not that it affects your larger point)

You’re correct, but G5 is the general term for “non-P4”. As a UConn alumnus we prefer to not call ourselves G5 but it is what it is until we finally get the Big 12/ACC invite.

UMass is in the MAC now btw.

Did you enjoy Storrs?

I did - it’s a great place and I made awesome friends. Was in a great fraternity and still talk to a bunch of my college friends to this day. We usually do a football game either home or away as an annual trip - UConn was an awesome place to spend 4 years of my life and I loved every part about it. Plus we won a men’s hoops title while I was there and multiple women’s which was cool too.

I didn’t realize underclassmen could play in all-star games. Is that a recent rule change? Doesn’t surprise me though in this era of letting players do whatever the hell they want because all rules are bad.
