Local 2026 recruits with P5? offers but none from Nebraska.

I'm not sure I'd want to try to finish in the top 3-4 in the B1G with Cockeye State's roster.

Maybe they only show 3 per page? 🤔
If the search came out right it's only those 3 on Rivals. Could potentially have a few more, they might be still evaluating some or how things go with other recruits. But unfortunately with the 105 they won't be able to take a chance on the local guys like before.

I get ya. I was mostly just making a joke.

1. Do we have any realistic idea how big of a high school class we will take?

2. Why hasn’t Amarion Jackson received an offer?

His offer list is substantial so I think its worth a discussion.
Apparently he doesn't fit the type of WR that McGuire & Co were looking for. Speed was mentioned as an issue. He's not a track 4.4 type guy I think I saw he ran 4.6 somewhere. He has a lot of production the last couple of years though. Will see if Dana and Shorts circle back and take a look at him. If they pass on him I will feel a lot better about it than when McGuire passed on him.

Hopefully since Millard South seems to be the new hot school for instate talent things work out better than with the other Omaha guys the last couple of years.

I'd be very wary about taking a kid from one of these Nebraska recruiting "magnet schools". The rest of the competition is now so watered down, and these teams have, relatively speaking, so many weapons, that everyone on these teams will look better than they really are. The currently existing model doesn't really serve kids very well.

I had heard that both Nebraska camps he was at (through last June) they told him he had to get faster to get an offer. Last summer was only the summer after his sophomore year. Fast guys typically get noticeably faster their last two years of HS. He still has a chance.
