It's been rumored that a handful of teams may touched basis with him to see his interest in potentially leaving. I don't think he will have a hard time finding a home.
In other news, can we just have Ron Brown recruit RBs for us? When he was RB coach, we went from Helu to Burkhead to Ameer. Then he comes back with Mickey Joseph and recruits the best RB we have had since then with EJ. I know he is an extremely polarizing figure to many, but he clearly has a remarkable eye for finding RBs.
I think he's said his main reason for not being an official position coach recently has been because he wants to be out of the non-stop insanity that is recruiting. Hopefully he could be in on the evaluation portion of things, though.

That's how I'd approach it if I'm Rhule, especially with the ability to have unlimited coaches etc. However you could get exponentially more reps in for your guys you expect to play if you're close to the 105 in spring.
It's not a huge surprise to me. He stepped up and had a solid season last year. Then he got buried on the depth chart again this year and really didn't see the field much for most of the season. Even though he moved up late in the year and had success, you have to imagine there were teams reaching out during season while he was riding the bench talking about how much better off he'd be if he were there instead of Lincoln. Maybe he was frustrated and initiating these conversations himself, looking for a situation where he would actually get to play. By the time he finally saw the field in Lincoln, he had probably already mentally gotten excited about the prospect of moving on. It's the reality of the transfer portal world we're in right now.
This team needs a home run hitter at RB. I am tired of RBs that turn house calls into 15-20 yard gains like EJ and Dowdell both did this year.

Interesting on EJ. I know several radio folks have sung him praise for never complaining and being a team first guy. With the way he benefited under Dana I would think he’d be content. Didn’t seem like a money grab guy either.
Almost all players are low transfers risks in my NCAA football dynasty and that's all that matters
