They can't force the teachers or admin to have to report to parents for change in pronouns or sexual orientation. It's not forcing them to not tell parents.

A few other interesting ones passed 7/1/24.

Gun tax (AB 28)

This law adds a 11% state tax on firearms and ammo sold in the state starting in July 2024.

That could be quite painful if you like guns.

Expired car tags (AB 256)​

Can't pull someone over just for expired tags seems counterproductive to revenue. Not seeing the logic there.

Drug testing kits in bars (AB 1013)​

Bars have to provide test kits for roofies, ketamine, etc. Apparently they've made straws that will do this.

Probably not a bad idea.
