I, like a few other posters in the thread, am highly skeptical that we will hold McCord and nab Raiola. Too many years of being beat down by Nebraska football... I have PTSD.

That said, I can't imagine Rhule wasn't communicating his continued pursuit of Raiola to McCord and his camp.

In all seriousness @HuskerGarrett is taking some stray fire over there. I got his back. Truly shocking turn of events tonight. Can say it isn't NIL despite what you might be hearing. Not an increase request on DR's part nor a decrease on UGA's. I like to think back years ago in January when UGA was a back to back champion, Pug was committed to UGA, and DR was a Buckeye. What has changed except the Dawgs lost one game? Now, that hurt bad. Anyway, all this to say... If this board doesn't get this thread to 60 pages by the morning then I'm decommitting.

I'm a Chicken Little (I admit)...

But I actually worry that the McCord camp (read: his dad) would be ego-driven enough that this whole Raiola media a-bomb today makes them RETHINK their commitment.

Dad wanted Kyle to have his big announcement day to stick it to OSU. Sees this explosion of interest RE: Dylan and says "fuck this, you need to go somewhere you're the #1 attraction."

I think this is an insane thing to think....but the dad sounds like he's a bit of a stage dad in the first place.

I won't disagree with this take.

I am actually of the opinion it all lines up. I don’t think McCord has any effect on DR. I think McCord starting for a year and then turning it over to DR is good for all parties.

What’s the story on your side of the fence?

Rolling carpet out for JuJu during campus visits while not bestowing enough attention to DR plus Beck coming back. This does not make sense to me, but NIL doesn't either. He was going to get big $$$ from UGA. I hope the real story does come out, and I hope I'll recognize it as the real story. Right now, there is a new inside take or story every minute. So, super unclear. Also, hope I didn't offend anyone earlier as was all in jest. I hope the N carries weight in the B1G and is my number 1 team up North #CornDawgs I'll say this; It has bothered me that Pug remained so loyal to Dawgs and fans for the most part seemed only excited for DR. Maybe this will lead to Pug getting the fan support he deserves up to this point. DR could easily be much better, but idk until they start playing CFB. All I know is that kid hasn't wavered since day 1, so I for one am not crushed. Most Georgia fans on social media are having a hard time though, lol
