I really thought this was about the Braves clinching National League homefield or Ronny getting 40/70, but new stadium construction starting is pretty cool too. I can't wait till one of y'all takes me on a tour on an all expense paid football weekend!
I just think that going to games is largely overrated to more and more people anymore... I know, I don't want to pay the money, drive there, deal with traffic, deal with not being able to park, not getting into a restaurant, watch 1 game where I sit next to a hippo and drive home in a parking lot.

My hypothesis and pure speculation on my part based on the underlining tones. They’ll eventually be a whole stadium rebuild not necessarily immediate future. All Students will get moved to north stadium with band as to not block suites and luxury sections Turd was talking about. South stadium will be opened up to all fans with donors first dibs. Current South Stadium ticket holders will have to pay current donation fee to hold priority of acquiring seats again when south stadium reopens. Grandfathering with minimal fees will go away and if you want to sit in a south you will have to pay the going rate.

I think they already said that the band and students are moving to south stadium and that they're going to build some sort of concourse area for the students to be able to hang out in.

The stadium has already been redone. West in 90s, North in 00s, East in 10s, and now South in 20s. My guess is it’s close to doing more renovations on the West that side will probably occur in the 30s. It will be more to update things then to structural.
Complaints about it at Nebraska are especially funny given the academic side is one of the few in America that is directly made better off by the athletic department financially
