I think dynasties are 3. I don't think you can have a dynasty of 2.

NFL Dynasties:
60's Packers (you have to count the pre-Super Bowl championships of '61, '62, '65)
70's Steelers (4 SB's in 6 appearances)
80's 49ers (4 in a decade)
90's Cowboys (3 in 4 years)
2000's Patriots (x2: early 2000's, mid to late teens)


I'm guessing the Chiefs will make it with Mahomes, but calling them a dynasty now is premature, imo.

I'd like to know how many other times there was a "clear case" of defensive holding during that game.

Hell, living in north Lincoln is torture enough. I'm reminded daily why South Lincoln gets all the good stuff.

Defensive holding, like all non safety fouls,has a philosophy behind if they get called or not. Safety fouls are like blindside blocks, blocks below waist, targeting, etc. Those all are all by letter of the law (to an extend). Non safety fouls like DPI/OPI, holding, defensive holding have steps or categories to determine if they're a foul.

Defensive holding is a 2 step process, first did defender restrict the offensive player from his route or blocking assignment. Would you generally assess how much it influenced the play beyond just whether the qb looking or throwing that way? Or if it was thrown that way it's an automatic assumption that it did influence the play because it's impossible to tell for sure.

I posted about that one Inside Nebraska board.

I do agree they missed that one early. I don't believe they didn't miss it because they didn't think it was a foul.
My guesses on the miss are:
1. The official whose key (watching JuJu) got straight lined. Straight lined means his entire view was cut off by another player(s) or looking through the back of defender.
2. Crossing routes officials switch keys and it could have been in the process of that switch not seeing the entire foul.
3. Backjudge could have been bailing on a deep route which took him off secondary coverage (he has best angle to see this foul).

It's a combo of #1 and #2 and #3. The LOS official (DJ or LJ) has this action after receiver starts across the middle of the field. BJ has that #3 WR who is clearing the hash and being chased by an Eagles defender. That LOS official would be looking through the back of the defender and can't see the arm grab. The SJ/FJ would be looking through 4 players to see it. BJ has to stay with his key because the defender is trailing and can easily grab and hold that receiver.

@alt f4 what was your thoughts on the catch no catch for the two eagles on the sidelines along with the catch and fumble that they called an incomplete pass. Not saying they got any of those wrong, just want to hear your opinion on those.
