One thing my wife always does is stay in her lane. She'd never suggest investing in any stock.

This can be both good and bad. If there's an opportunity that I bring up to her it's 10 million questions. Then it's "running it by" 8 other people with 10 million questions. Then its back to me with another 10 million questions. Then pissed that I'm getting annoyed with answering the same question 62 times.

She asks me what rug to get I say "I don't give a shit. Whatever you want." Because ultimately I don't give a shit. The rug we've got is fine. Besides if I pick one it won't be the one that she wanted and the one we're getting is the one she wants.

Lol my immigrant wife not only saves plastic bags but she has her “favorites” from different stores.


For example her absolute favorite bag is the XL bags from Menards.

When we go she just grabs the entire box underneath the regular size bags.

Literally just cleans them out. (right before she gets the 11% rebate slip because it doesn’t matter if our total bill is a few bucks my wife is filling that shit out and mailing it in)

It’s WN farmer semen, so of course it’s still viable! It’s only been exposed to a wide variety of herbicide and pesticide for about 75 years. Ol Doc hasn’t had so much as a skeeter bite since Nam.

I’m concerned that Doc’s time in the Boulder area weakened those little swimmers to the point that he almost voted for Sleepy Joe.

We keep too many plastic walmart type of bags. But I only keep some for two reasons. One, is they work fine for our smaller trash can bags (have 3 bathrooms upstairs where this works out fine). Also, for dirty diaper bags. Not long ago, we had 3, sometimes 4 kids in this house in diapers, so I double, sometimes triple wrapped those poopy diapers in walmart bags. I take the trash out once a week (we live in the country, no trash service here), and can't stand poopy diapers stinking up our large tash can in the kitchen area. triple wrapping poopy diapers prevents the stench. But we are now down to 1 kid in this house who is in diapers (he is 1, so will be a couple years before this changes), so with only 1 kid the need for 200+ plastic walmart style bags is overkill. I get rid of a bunch of them in our trash weekly, as we have way more than we need at this point.

But there are bigger problems in life and marriage. I can handle this one with little to no stress. I won't go in to otherr areas of WTFness that the woman does on a daily basis.

If an excess of plastic shopping bags is the biggest disruptor of matrimonial bliss for y'all, may I recommend gathering them in a larger bag and dropping them off back at the store when you return there to acquire more groceries? It's worked for us for a long, long time and really isn't that complicated.

Now, if I could just get her to fully close a drawer and/or doors, life at Casa de LHR would be blissful indeed.
