Yant back in good graces?

He seems like an uber talented kid, but mentally not there to maximize. I mean there is probably a reason he struggled to get qualified and then put on 30 pounds over summer.
He’s just what our rag tag bad news bears football team needs to win the championship.

Can he recruit this generation of kids though?

That’s my only question.
I think that wont be a problem. From what I have been told the kids love working with him and have a ton of respect for him. Is he going to be burning up the phones like Held? No, but you get somebody like Joseph at WR, the right OC and Frost you should be able to get talent into that room.

Newby was Fish and Brown
Ameer was Beck
Green was Beck and Brown
Heard was Beck and C. Pelini
Rex was Papuchis and Beck
Janovich was Barney

Like that is a very good run at RB recruits and Brown wasn't the guy kicking down doors.

Can’t afford any dead weight on the staff, although I think he’s a good RB coach. Better be able to recruit that position at a high level.
