People think it's hyperbole that we are the worst program in P5. It's not.

Why anyone would be even remotely interested in proceeding with even the tiniest thread of connection to the last 5+ years is hard to fathom. Yet here we are with a large portion of our fan base who wants to stay the course with Mickey and keep 3 or 4 assistants and just see where this crazy ride takes us.

I know exactly where this ride takes us.

Straight to hell!

Well, we have the second largest streak of going to a bowl game at 35 games, maybe we are trying to have the longest bowl game drought.

Are your Kansas buddies worried about Leipold leaving?
Hell yeah they want to keep him and know others might want him. Last time they had a winning team was when the Wife Beater Mangino was coaching. They really want to keep LL. He is telling the AD & Boosters that he likes it at KU and wants to stay long term. Who knows if that is his true thoughts or just him blowing smoke.
AD has been talking to boosters trying to drum up more money. KU Athletic Department doesn't have the deep pockets like bigger programs like Ned have, and they know it. It is my understanding that they are working on a $6.25 million/yr contract for him. Also he wants additional money for NIL and Facilities Upgrades. I think they will be able to get it and sign Leipold if he truly wants to stay there.
