Wilt’s Records

Not year after year. Those early Cleveland teams were devoid of talent. The reason he left is because no one wanted to come to Cleveland.
Who was a teammate of Howard’s that wasn’t as bad as the players Bron played with for 4 years?

Howard’s teams were trash and Howard is not even considered near the level of lebron. Not a single top 100 player on those teams all time other than Howard.

Rashard Lewis

Rashard Lewis
I mean I guess. Does Dwight Howard and Rashard Lewis equal Lebron in most peoples minds? Not likely.
Rashard only averaged like 17 points a game as a magic player if I recall correctly.
My point is mostly Dwight Howard is underrated for that brief period where he was dominant.
As much as lebron is overrated for that specific period.

Now lebron from his years with the heat through being on the cavs is underrated imo. Just hard to quantify because he played with so many studs.

If Lebron doesn’t crack your top 3 of all time NBA players you’re a hater. I also don’t like the guy, but he is definitely one of the best ever to play the game. The guy could take a bunch of rejects in his prime and make a run in the playoffs.
Naaah……..unlikely to crack my top-ten all-time.

Howard had two good years where he willed his teams to make solid playoff runs. I would still say those teams had more talent than a lot of Lebron’s early teams. Go back and look at that first team Lebron got to to the finals. That roster was pathetic. I will say Dwight had a run in his prime for awhile where he was a stud. I couldn’t believe he had the drop off he did when he went to the Lakers.

Talent wise I would say the cavs were on the same level is all I’m saying.
Jameer Nelson was the 2nd best player on those teams and he was on the same level as an Eric Snow.
Lewis was slightly better than Shannon brown.

Those magic teams were bad.

Snow was washed and Shannon Brown didn't play much for the 2006-7 Cavs. I don't think there's any doubt that Dwight's supporting cast was better by a significant margin. I'd much rather have Nelson, Turkoglu, and Rashard Lewis over Big Z and Larry Hughes. But maybe you're a Boobie Gibson guy

It's OK to be wrong once in a while or so I'm told. Never experienced it myself.

Redick, Bogans, and Courtney Lee weren't too bad themselves.

A lot of people knock Lebron more for his views and what he says to be hypocritical than anything. The guy annoys the hell out of me at times. If he presented himself differently you wouldn’t see all the hate. He is easily the most talented NBA player Ive ever seen. I just can’t imagine him not being in anyone’s top 3 with what he has did on the court over the years unless bias is involved. To me he is easily number 2.

It’s unfortunate that you youngsters missed out on real NBA basketball back in the 60s & 70s.

Just sayin’…….

.
I remember watching Tiny Nate Archibald of the Kansas City-Omaha Kings at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. Pretty sure (51%) I saw a game against the Celtics there but I was pretty young then.

I have no problem being wrong. Like I said I have lebron in my top 5 solidified.

I’m mostly just trying to build what Dwight Howard did up. If you watched those teams, every player was washed aside from Jameer Nelson which no one would ever mistake for anything more than an ok player. Would have been a 6 or bench rotation on most rosters.
