Dean makes it sounds like it’s a huge loss and was unexpected. I’m like you, not that surprised and I don’t think it s a huge loss. Good player when healthy and good insurance if someone gets hurt, but not much more than that IMO.

Which is a dadgummed shame. I remember how pumped our fanbase was when we won the 'crootin war for this young lad's services. Sadly, diminished performance due to injuries is a big part of the game of hut hut. I wish him well on his future journeys.

B You have some young pups that have passed him from the 21 recruiting class
C He wont have the speed necessary to play
D It wont surprise me if we have some more attrition here... A few players are shit or get off the pot time.
E You have Kolarvic as an older back up.

If you're ass at MLB, I could see taking him. I don't think there's really a downside if you've got a spot.

A few posters have been mentioning for a while that Honas was wanting to transfer to KSU. That is understandable as it is closer to his home in Wichita. Does it really matter if you are a back up at KSU or Nebraska your SR year?

I remember how excited I was after watching his highlights and beating Wisconsin for him. He hit like a freight train in the videos. That type of play never seemed to translate to here. Best of luck to Will, easy player to root for as he just put his head down and worked. Never caused any problems or complained on Social Media.

Injuries really hurt him. I thought he was starting to play really well his first year before the first injury.
