I didn't ask this on RSS, because he gets so defensive about it, but I'm sort of puzzled. I understand that it's an economic boon for Lincoln following the 2020 season and that it is a good signal about there being 100% capacity at Memorial Stadium this fall for football. Beyond that, what's going on? This feels like the time he got some sort of promotional deal for that one Bud Crawford fight and did all that content, including a classic PPV giveaway that involved Nate and Robin announcing that @TraditionCoalition was one of the winners.

Is this just because of a super slow news cycle and he needs something to fill the articles and generate clicks? Is this enough of a local interest item that the Nebraska-based contingent find it newsworthy? Am I just missing the point entirely?

The point is to not cover recruiting that seems to be going super not great
I did just take a look over the official visit list for June, which is now one of the most important time periods in a recruiting class, and it's barely even "meh." And basically every prospect on there that excites me (Kanak, Davilier) are very likely to go somewhere else. Other than those few, it's a big bag of 5.5/5.6 guys with nothing standing out about them.

I'm not super duper concerned about ratings at this point for kids who might not have played a bunch last year, I just don't know who on the board is really all that likely to commit any time soon

Not a whole lot else to talk about. June will be busy for them I'm sure. But this shit is all just filler to put out a new story a day.

There was no greater feeling than the day big Rob and Nate announced my victory and free PPV to watch Crawford.

It was amazing. Their reaction was priceless--a bunch of lurkers no one had ever heard of and then you.
LOL it was amazing. I'm sure they were pissed, or maybe not, I don't know. I actually ended up giving it away to a guy who had given me half court basketball tickets the year previous as a thank you.
